We are offering multiple kinds of classes this session: our regular technique-based classes, a few project oriented classes, and some classes more appropriate for our “younger beaders”.

All the classes listed below are taught by one of our qualified staff; Class sizes and times may vary based on each technique. All classes are appropriate for beginners unless otherwise noted. Examples of each class will be available at the shop and on our website.

To benefit the entire class, please purchase any required supplies prior to the class time/date.

Class	Description	Tuition
STRINGING BASICS	This is a technique-based class where you will learn about the different kinds of stringing materials, how to decide which to use, and how to finish them off properly. Practice materials and tools will be available, but they will have to be returned after the class. If you choose to bring your examples home, just bring two bracelets worth of beads and tools (flat pliars & cutters) if you have them.	$30
WIRE BASICS	This is a technique-based class where you will learn the secrets to bending wire...Learn how to create earrings, link-necklaces, and connect beads inside and dangling off of chain. With one basic wire technique, the possibilities are endless! Practice materials and tools will be available, but they will have to be returned after the class. If you choose to bring your examples home, just bring a selection of 6-8mm beads for practice and tools (flat pliars, round pliars, & cutters) if you have them.	$35
KNOTTING	This is a technique-based class where you will learn to knot between beads! This valuable technique is taught by hand, we will use no additional tools. Basic stringing is definitely a prerequisite for this one! Bring round beads sizes 6-8mm and lots of patience. ***This knotting class requires that you take stringing basics or have knowledge about finishing techniques for silk, nylon, and using beadtips before signing up.	$40
EMBELLISHMENT	Spice up your purses, clothes, and homes with these fun tips!	$30
CHUNKY CHAIN BOBBLE NECKLACE	Turn a basic chain into a fun bejeweled necklace! Using headpins we’ll add to the chain: crystals, pearls, or any other beads of your choice to the chain for a fun and funky look. Concentrated toward the front, these beads will give a jumbled appearance that can be worn dressy or casual. This class will give you the opportunity to learn to manipulate and twist headpins and leave with a really cool necklace!	$30
SEED BEADED RING	Stitch together a beaded ring with seed beads and Czech crystal for an eccentric piece.	$30
FLOATING PEARL NECKLACE	Learn to create a delicate and beautiful knotted pearl necklace on silk with spacing. This exquisite type of necklace has the appearance of “floating” on your neck. You will learn our hands-only knotting technique using size 4 silk cord in a neutral color and small freshwater pearls of your choice. All necessary materials will be provided for you (silk, pearls, sterling silver beadtips & a sterling silver clasp). If you would like to use any other small-holed beads such as crystals, spacer beads or a focal bead, please purchase them separately and bring them to class.	$50
LOOPY EARRINGS	Create a “hip” pair of earrings using a needle and thread…not our standard way of doing it. A great class for beginners who want to dabble into using seed beads. Choose a focal bead and you will have 2 dangling loops come out from underneath…each dotted with a smaller focal bead. Making these yourself means those loops can be as long or as short as you prefer-for those who like long and the others who like them a little more conservative. In class, there should be enough time to complete one pair of earrings and possibly begin another.	$35
“YOUNG BEADER” NECKLACE STRINGING	Young beaders can come to this class knowing nothing about bead stringing and leave with a wealth of information about using cable wire and its finishing techniques. Let us help design, string, and finish a necklace with a soon to be bead lover. There will be plenty of time to plan and play; it is not necessary to come knowing what exactly you’ll make. Some materials will be provided: flexible cable wire, crimps and clasp.	$30
WIRE WRAPPING	Add a new "twist" to your jewelry make learning to wrap wire around stones and pearls fun! Incorporate this look into chain or as a pendant!	$30
BEADED ORNAMENT	Learn to make a beautiful netted ornament and a wire hook. (IT IS MUCH EASIER THAN IT LOOKS!) Once you learn the pattern, it’s easy to cover any round ornament. We recommend plastic ornaments, so that if ever dropped, your beadwork will be saved from destruction. We will have some plastic ornaments in silver if needed.	$30
SQUARE STITCH BEADED BEADS	Create a project that is beaded through and through!	$30
PEYOTE STITCH	Learn the most universal seed bead weaving stitch, the peyote stitch. Learn the even count peyote stitch to create a simple bracelet. This class will give you experience to try a myriad of projects—both your own and those in magazines and books-- with this basic knowledge. …	$30
BRANCH EARRINGS	In this class you will learn the branching technique and use it to create a funky pair of dangle earrings!	$30
